Description: |
||
In a strong safety culture, everyone feels responsible for safety, and they live it daily. Employees go beyond the call of duty to identify unsafe conditions and behaviours, and feel comfortable bringing up safety concerns. Effective safety leaders drive culture, which in turn, drives behaviours and sustains the change over a longer period of time. Leaders create that strong safety culture through inspiring others to make safety who they are, by challenging the employees to think beyond their comfort zone, by engaging them to be part of the solution and by collaborating with them to pull it all together. Ensuring a safe workplace is an on-going responsibility for Business Leaders, HR Professionals, Supervisors and Employees. Today’s session will provide the link between leadership, culture, engagement and a safe workplace. | ||
