The Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation allows you to stand out in the job market because of your expertise and commitment to the industry. By obtaining your CPHR designation, you’re committing to staying updated and up to date with the latest industry trends. The CPHR designation is recognized across Canada and is awarded by the provincial chapters of CPHR Canada.

Demonstrate your theoretical and technical knowledge of the CPHR Competency Framework by either:

Demonstrate knowledge and critical thinking by meeting the foundational knowledge coursework requirement (as required in order to write the NKE) and the appropriate level of post-secondary qualification as determined by the path being followed.
You must show your HR work experience through the Validation of Experience process. Depending on the path, you need a minimum three years of HR experience within the last 10 years. This experience can be gained in any sector and does not have to be from Canada.
