Job Description

Challenge :
• Actively participate in all Human Resources activities
• Inform employees about the company’s various policies and procedure and answer their questions
• Create and maintain personnel file and various up-to-date databases
• Administrative support for payroll, benefits, group insurance, RRSP’s and health claim
• Assist and advice managers in the recruitment process
• Identification of recruitment sources, distribution of job offers, search of candidates
• Prepares contracts and inform candidate
• Facilitate and coordinate the integration of new employees
• Collaborate in the schedule review of different departments
• Responsible to oversee for frontline unions labors relations
• Collaborate in the development and the implementation of the various HR team projects
• Perform any other task and/or projects assigned by a member of management


Qualifications

Requirements:
• University or college education in business administration and/or human resources
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial and/or unionized manufacturing environment
• Experience in a manufacturing industry would be an asset
• CPHR/CRHA designation would be an asset
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools : Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
