Moncton Public Library
The Moncton Public Library is looking for volunteers interested to share their expertise with job seekers. You need to be available one evening every 8 to 12 weeks to host a Strategic Networking session, a program offered every Tuesday at 6:30pm. Job seekers can learn about what employers are looking for in a resume, how to develop their network, how to get ready for a job interview, etc. Hosts are given carte blanche and can offer the session in the language of their choice. Oulton College
Oulton College student body will participate in one of four half day sessions on February 23 and 24 dedicated to presenting their portfolios to each other. We are looking for a guest speaker to come in and kick off each session with a 15 minute talk on how they use portfolios. Ideally, we are looking for a recruiter/HR representative that actually utilizes portfolios and their business would appeal to a large base of our students.
