    CPHRNB supports the advancement of the human resources profession and practices in New Brunswick. Each year, we recognize distinguished human resources professionals by awarding four prizes bi-annually. CPHR Canada also awards the Fellow distinction to exceptional professionals.

  • The Community Champion Award is given to a human resources professional in recognition of their exceptional volunteer contribution within a CRHANB committee or a charitable/non-profit organization within their community. They have demonstrated commitment to their community for many years by actively participating in programs and services aimed at enriching the lives of others. 

    Candidates must: 

    • Work in the field of human resources in New Brunswick. 

    If selected as winners, candidates must: 

    • Consent in writing to the nomination and publication of their name and photo in connection with the CPHRNB Excellence Awards.  
    • Agree to fill out a confidential information form that will be used to determine eligibility.  
    • Provide a professional biography and a photo that will be used for advertising purposes related to the awards.  
    • Be available to attend the award ceremony 

Criteria for the Community Champion Award 

Community Interest:

  • The candidate's volunteer contributions have a direct impact on the community, and their work aligns with the needs and priorities of the community they serve. 

Inclusivity and Innovation:  

  • Demonstrate particular attention to the inclusivity of often underrepresented groups and propose new approaches to the work of a non-profit organization. 

 

Nominate a candidate for the 2025 awards
