    CPHRNB supports the advancement of the human resources profession and practices in New Brunswick. Each year, we recognize distinguished human resources professionals by awarding four prizes bi-annually. CPHR Canada also awards the Fellow distinction to exceptional professionals.

  • The HR Excellence Award recognizes outstanding human resources professionals who demonstrate leadership in the profession and in their organization through solid practices and innovative programs that achieve superior organizational results.

    Candidates must:

    • Work in the field of human resources in New Brunswick.

    If selected as recipients, candidates must:

    • Consent in writing to the nomination and the publication of their name and photo in connection with the CPHRNB Excellence Awards.  
    • Agree to complete a confidential information form that will be used to determine eligibility.  
    • Provide a professional biography and photo to be used for advertising purposes related to the awards.  
    • Be available to attend the award ceremony. 

Criteria for the CPHRNB human resources excellence award

Leadership and Organizational Impact:

  • The recipient demonstrates leadership and vision within their organization, motivating others and driving positive changes that contribute to the organization's results.

Strategist:

  • The recipient is recognized in their field as a champion of change, influencing strategic alignment and continuous improvement within the organization. 

Commitment to the HR Profession:  

  • The recipient contributes to the promotion and advancement of the human resources profession by engaging with peers and within CRHANB. They share their knowledge and experience with other professionals and commit to their own professional development and growth.

Ethics and Integrity:  

  • The recipient is recognized in their field and by their peers for their professional values and ethical practices.
