About the WebinarOptimum Talent is offering a new service that focuses on the impacts of mental health in the workplace. Through a variety of offerings, we can help leaders learn how to support employees mange difficult personal issues to ensure compassion, engagement and performance. We know that many managers and leaders either have difficulty or lack the skills to have basic conversations in regards to Career Management, Feedback and Performance, so how do we expect them to handle employees coping with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and burn out? Through Workplace Emotional Health, Optimum Talent will equip leaders with tips, tools and techniques that can be immediately applied in order to recognize when an employee is suffering, offer unbiased support and guide their teams with compassion and clarity.
About the SpeakerSandra Boyd - National Practice Leader Sandra Boyd is National Practice Leader, Career Transition & Outplacement at Optimum Talent. She brings over 20 years’ experience in Career Management and Career Transition. Sandra is also a Board Member of Career Star Group and international organization representing 80 countries. We provide the ability to support multinational companies who need career transition support in multiple countries while attending to the uniqueness of each location. Sandra developed her consulting skills and worked with organizations in a variety of sectors – including professional services, telecommunications, health care, financial, consumer goods, manufacturing, and government. Sandra is the author of “The Hidden Job Market” McGraw Hill-Ryerson and Co-Author of “Flexible Thinkers Guide to Extreme Career Performance”. Sandra has been widely published and quoted across the U.S. and Canada and in such publications as the Globe & Mail, Huffington Post and has been a guest on both radio and TV shows to discuss the ever-changing workplace.
