Randy is the founder and Chief Vision Officer of ACHIEVE Centre for Leadership. He is an intuitive and visionary leader who, together with a team of employees and trainers, has positioned ACHIEVE to be a leading provider of professional development training. Randy is a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Conflict Resolution. He is passionate about sharing the importance of creating healthy workplace cultures, and believes that leadership requires us to always be intentional about what we do and how we do it. Randy is author of The Ordinary Leader, and co-author of The Culture Question and A Little Book About Trauma-Informed Workplaces. He gives presentations on leadership and workplace culture to a wide range of audiences. Randy is a dynamic speaker who delivers insightful presentations that are engaging, humorous, and informative. Dealing with issues related to mental health in the workplace can be challenging and difficult to navigate. It is essential that organizations have the capabilities to manage mental health because early identification and support typically leads to continued productivity and retention of employees. With the right support, people with mental health concerns can thrive in the workplace. This workshop provides a roadmap to help managers participate in conversations with employees who may require support when experiencing difficulties related to mental health.
