Lisa Zangari | ||||||
Lisa Zangari is an accomplished senior HR executive and strategic consultant with over 25 years of experience with high growth, global publicly listed companies in the technology and mining industries. Lisa provides expertise in corporate strategy, executive compensation, CEO/Board succession planning, organizational transformation/change management, shareholder activism, mergers and acquisitions, risk management and corporate governance. Often characterized by her “big picture” perspective, she is a passionate, strong collaborative leader with the proven ability to build highly-competent, high-performing teams. She is known as a superior relationship manager, negotiator, coach, facilitator and consensus builder, with a talent for galvanizing and developing teams and leaders into execution, action and the delivery of results. In 2016, Lisa launched Epic Engagement, a vehicle for her to apply her expertise, experience, and passion more broadly. Prior to Epic Engagement, Lisa held the position of CHRO for international organizations in the technology and precious metals industries. As CHRO, Lisa led the development and execution of global culture & talent management strategies, including organizational design & effectiveness, talent planning & acquisition, succession, leadership development, performance, engagement, executive compensation and total rewards. In addition, Lisa has successfully led multiple integration efforts for small to large acquisitions, over several geographies, including North and South America, West and South Africa, Australia, India, Philippines, Russia and Europe. With over 15 years spent reporting into the HR & Compensation Committee of four publicly listed companies, and in service of the Corporate Governance & Nominating Committee of two publicly listed companies, Lisa understands well the importance of strong working relationships with the Board of Directors. This program runs from August 23, 2023 - November 22, 2023 In this certificate program, attendees will learn a practical HR Business Partner framework, the development strategy to prepare for – and grow inside – the role, and the HRBP “Enabling Skillsets” that encompass the business partner’s day-to-day skills: coaching, facilitation and consulting methodologies; organizational design and development principles; and talent planning. The Enabling Skillsets – communicating & collaborating, diagnosing & solutioning, and financial and business acumen – have remained constant throughout the evolution of the HRBP role. Business Partners must service-oriented and be willing and able to foster open and effective dialogue between themselves and their Line Manager, as well as all other stakeholders that impact their partner’s business. HRBPs must be willing and able to develop awareness of human capital barriers and opportunities, and engage their Line Manager with options to help them improve their business. To gain the trust of their line partners, and to inform the solutions offered, Business Partners must demonstrate an understanding of basic business and finance concepts.
