Denise Gallant, Director, Compensation at J.D. Irving Ltd has more than 30 years working with various public, private and crown corporations in the areas of Total Rewards. Denise has facilitated the Compensation and Benefit module of the HR Management Certificate program since 2006 at UNB and NBCC. Denise is fluent in French and English. She is recognized for her passion and expert knowledge of HR; particularly her commitment to excellence and her focus to drive leading total reward practices needed to build, align and engage the workforce to achieve business results. Denise is the center of excellence (COE) leader for compensation and leads the design, development and execution of all elements of compensation including; base pay, job evaluation, job hierarchy, variable pay programs, market research, technology, training, and communication. She holds her CHRP designation as well as World at Work compensation designations of CCP (Canadian Compensation Professional), GCP (Global Compensation Professional) and maintains her payroll PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation. She is a member of HRANB (Human Resource Association of New Brunswick), World at Work Association, Canadian Payroll Association and SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management). | ||
