Description: |
||
The Fredericton Chapter of HRANB is pleased to offer this half-day professional development opportunity. These two respected experts will provide us with a clear understanding of what is currently happening legally with harassment and bullying and they will then translate it in terms of what it means for us in our organization and how to appropriately manage the before, during and after. Sally Wells will speak on the harassment policy in the workplace, what should be included, and how to write an effective harassment policy. She will provide an in-depth look at handling a harassment investigation once a complaint has been received and discuss when to handle the investigation internally, and when outside assistance should be sought. George Raine will then discuss legal trends, current cases, changing legislation and other related items that may impact the way we approach bullying and harassment issues in our workplaces. This will be a practical and interactive session where the speakers will be available to answer your questions. | ||
