Janice Rubin is the co-founder & co-managing partner of Rubin Thomlinson LLP and was named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in 2023 by Canadian Lawyer. With over 30 years of experience, she is a highly accomplished employment lawyer and workplace investigator, one of the country’s foremost experts in workplace investigations, and a trusted advisor to senior human resource professionals. She is frequently called upon to conduct investigations and assessments/reviews, as well as to advise or consult on complex, high-stakes issues pertaining to complaints of workplace harassment or other misconduct. Elizabeth Bingham is a partner at Rubin Thomlinson LLP and brings a high level of skillfulness to her work. She is proficient in handling cases with challenging factors such as potentially contradictory evidence, reluctant interviewees, disability, mental health, and class. Her expertise includes investigations into complaints of harassment, discrimination, and other forms of misconduct within the education sector. Trained in a trauma-informed approach to investigations, Elizabeth also has experience in conducting investigations that involve allegations of sexual harassment and sexual assault.
