Jamie Eddy | ||
Jamie Eddy is the managing partner of the Fredericton, New Brunswick office of Cox & Palmer and the New Brunswick Chair of the Employment and Labour Group. Jamie’s practice is exclusively in the area of employment and labour law with extensive experience in wrongful dismissal lawsuits, human rights complaints, union certification applications, pensions, injunctions, grievance arbitrations, employment standards appeals, workers compensation appeals, employment insurance appeals, disability claims, preparation of employment contracts, employee policies and termination agreements, negotiation of collective agreements and general pro-active advice on employment and labour law issues. Jamie also provides a variety of pro-active training seminars for employers in the union and non-union workplace. Jamie is: a member of the NB Human Resources Association; past chair of the Labour and Employment Section of the CBA, NB Branch; on the editorial board of the Federated Press, Executive Employment; and a lecturer of employment law at the University of New Brunswick. | ||
