Marloes Vooijs, MSc Doctoral Candidate, Coronel Institute of Occupational Health, Academic Medical Center Marloes Vooijs is a PhD-student at the Coronel Institute of Occupational Health, Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her research focuses on supporting work participation of people with a chronic disease, in which she aims to gather information on aspects and interventions independent of diagnosis. In her research she also focuses on the role of the individuals with a chronic disease in their participation in work and how they value their work. | ||

Marloes Vooijs presents her research, in which she provides more information on the factors associated with work participation of people with a chronic disease. The focus of the presentation is on which interventions could be effectively implemented to support participation at work for people with a chronic disease, independent of diagnosis. Information on both the factors and interventions is obtained through the performance of a systematic review of the international literature. Based on the presentation, you will learn: - The rationale of the focus on enhancing work participation of people with a chronic disease; - Which factors positively and negatively influence work participation irrespective of diagnosis; - Which interventions are effective to enhance work participation irrespective of diagnosis. | ||
