Kathy Watt is a veteran educator, with a passion for developing leaders and organizations to realize more of their potential. Her work over the past two decades has been in the design and facilitation of workshops and coaching assignments with leaders at all levels. She particularly covets the time spent with executive-level clients, for all change starts at the top.

Kathy brings a strong values-based approach to helping people change behaviours that give them more of what they want in life and in leadership. She is known for her no-nonsense approach to changing lives and equipping leaders to enable change in organizations.

Kathy has spoken frequently to regional and national audiences surrounding the need for high levels of Emotional Intelligence to ensure success. 

“In a recent poll of HR leaders, 65% said their biggest challenges were related to people issues, and yet, only 8% of the respondents felt they really had the training to deal with these pressing problems.”

Workplace transformation is not about legal issues, job descriptions, payroll, or process evaluations…it’s about people.  Emotional intelligence competencies can lead to a deep awareness of how you collaborate with and motivate others; how you build rapport and trust, and most importantly, how you exert interpersonal authority. It is the ability to influence that will create the lasting workplace impact that every HR professional dreams about.

The emotional intelligence quotient (EQ) should be understood by every HR Department.  EQ has proven to save time and money while increasing the growth rate and efficiency of an organization.

Participants in this workshop will learn to utilize emotional intelligence more effectively, resulting in an increased ability to engage with others and expand their influence. Key elements of this highly interactive workshop and presentation include:
