Lucie demonstrates experience in all aspects of labour and employment law, including occupational health and safety, performance management, accommodation, workplace investigations, privacy and the development and implementation of workplace policies, as well as the drafting and negotiation of executive contracts and compensation packages. Lucie is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association, the New York Bar, the American Bar Association and Certified Professionals in Human Resources New Brunswick. She is a board member of CACE (Canadian Association of Counsel for Employers) and a member of the New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Services Tribunal. She is fully bilingual in French and English. Dominique is a fully bilingual lawyer with a practice in labour and employment law. She assists employers daily in offering strategic advice on various legal questions, including the duty to accommodate, human rights, occupational health and safety, terminations and the development or the application of internal policies. She regularly presents and speaks on these subjects, and writes legal updates on labour and employment law for McInnes Cooper. Dominique is also experienced in litigation, including wrongful dismissal cases, and has appeared before the New Brunswick Court of Appeal and the Court of Queen’s Bench. Dominique is a member of the CPHRNB (Chartered Professionals in Human Resources New Brunswick) , the Law Society of New Brunswick, and the AJEFNB (Association des juristes d’expression française du Nouveau-Brunswick). |
