Joshua Sohn & Marina Sedai |
Joshua Sohn is a lawyer at Guberman Garson LLP Immigration Law. He has been practising Canadian immigration and citizenship law for over 23 years. He provides advice to individuals, small businesses, and multinational corporations. He works closely with HR Managers and Staff in the preparation of work permits, compliance and permanent resident applications. In addition to work permits and permanent residency applications, Joshua also advises on issues related to criminal inadmissibility for immigration purposes. He is a past-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Immigration Law Section and past Legal Services Representative on the Joint Federal – Provincial Immigration Advisory Council.
Marina Sedai is the Vancouver office Managing Lawyer. Marina has practiced exclusively immigration and citizenship law since being called to the bar in 2005, representing businesses, individuals, and families. She is the Vice-Chair for the Canadian Bar Association Immigration Section and will be the national Chair in 2018-2019.
Marina is a frequent public speaker on immigration in the legal community and at other public events, and was also a University of British Columbia immigration practitioner program instructor for four years until 2014, where she taught a variety of courses, including Business Immigration and inadmissibilities. |
