Steve Armstrong | ||
Steve has lived and worked across Canada and around the world as an infantry Sergeant Major in the Canadian Army, a municipal administrator, a Red Cross executive and disaster manager, and as a professional speaker, educator and leadership consultant. Through the lessons learned from 35 years as a leader, soldier, and humanitarian, Steve has honed his insights and leadership skills and his unique ability to inspire and teach others to lead. He is one of only a handful of people in Canada who has planned and managed the relief and recovery responses and maintained complex business continuity function during a number of disasters across the globe. A highlight of his experience includes leading a team of 100’s of volunteers and staff who responded to SARS in 2003. Steve has Master’s Degree in Public Policy & Management and lives in Calgary with his patient and understanding wife Debra. |
